Boulder Market Day is the 3rd Sunday of every month and this is when the famous Burt St, the heart of Boulder, comes alive with a variety of market stalls, food and entertainment. The very popular one hour Super Pit tours run at 9:00am,10:00am,11:00am & 12:00pm and depart from the Eastern Goldfields Historical Society, Hamilton Street, Boulder.
Jump on the bus to get a first hand look inside the KCGM mining operations. Sit back and learn about one of Australia’s largest gold mine's from one of our knowledgeable tour guides. The tour takes you through the KCGM Black Street security gates past the mine site offices, Fimiston Mill, Workshop Yard and to an internal lookout on the South Eastern side of the Super Pit. At the internal lookout, passengers are able to get out of the bus and view the operation from a different perspective than the public lookout.
The tours last for approximately an hour and are free of charge if collected on the day of the tour, departing from the Historical Society, Hamilton Street, Boulder. Tickets are free on the day of departure, and are given on a first in, first served basis. Please note, that it is a requirement that all passengers wear fully enclosed shoes for the tour.
