Vacation Roles
As part of our commitment to the development
of young mining professionals, KCGM offers student vacation work between
November and February each year. Recruitment for this period commences in
September each year, with roles being advertised through this web site, as well
as the Kalgoorlie Miner and West Australian newspapers,
www.seek.com.au, and at universities
throughout Australia.
Applications are invited at this time from
students who are studying the following disciplines:
- Environmental Science
- Metallurgy
- Surveying
- Engineering (including Mechanical, Electrical and Mining)
- Geology
- Commerce
As part of their application applicants should provide a
copy of their resume summarising their employment and educational background, as
well as their educational transcript.
Successful candidates are
responsible for making their own travel and accommodation arrangements whilst
undertaking vacation work and residing in Kalgoorlie.
Successful
candidates are provided with return travel costs (if applicable) after eight
weeks of continuous employment.
